A webcam model is basically someone who is an “Online Entertainer” via live video chat sessions with customers. A webcam model can earn more than the normal pay depending on how long they spend in private showings with the customers as well. 

How would I become a webcam model?

It is quite simple; first you must be 18 years old or older (Canadian citizens must be at least 19 years or older). You must also possess a friendly and open minded personality and attitude, as well as being comfortable with yourself being on cam. There are currently jobs available for all types of models no matter their experience in front of a webcam, their ages, or even their looks; we greatly urge you to apply now. There is an online cam model application on our site where you can apply at, and if selected we will contact you with further information and get you started on your first show.

How much do Webcam Models make?

Every minute a customer watches your private shows, you get paid. There are two different types of chatting options to participate in; one is the premium chat which allows you to chat with multiple customers at once, and we pay our models $1 a minute. If for example in the premium chat you had 10 customers chatting with you, you will get $10 a minute! The second is the exclusive chat where you and one customer have a one on one chat; and we pay our models $1.25 a minute. An average price our models make a week is from $250 to $2000, but some of them make even more!

I see you have numerous sites in your network; will I be on every one of them at the same time?

Absolutely! With so many people browsing on so many different websites at the same time, our models make the most money because of this. This exposure is something you cannot get on any other cam site or network!

Can other people perform in my webcam show? Do you admit couples, and would I be able to do group shows with different models?

Yes, you absolutely can! Couples and group shows are in high demand and you can make more money this way. However, each participant must apply and be approved for a separate stage name with an account of their own or a guest account. To perform with others you must create an account for groups first. We do not limit how many people can be in your group shows. 

I at present work for another website, would I be able to work with you and work there as well?

Yes, you can. You are free to webcam on our site and any others you want, however the only thing not allowed is for our models to simulcast on our site and another site at the same time. With the amount of money and exposure you will be getting with us, you wouldn't want to cam on any other site; we can guarantee you this!

Do you hold payment or detract for chargebacks?

No, we do not. The minute you finish ANY paid chats you have participated in, you keep all your money you earned, and that’s that. We do not hold back pay or any of the sorts for any reason at all.

How often do I get paid?

Our models and referral agents get paid every week. However, when starting out you will not get paid on your first two weeks for Payment processing. After that you will get paid regularly every week for the work put in the previous week. We send out all payments on Saturday at 6pm EST.

What do I get paid for?

Every time you enter a paid private chat with a customer, you will be paid. If you are able to keep your customers satisfied to stay longer and longer, your payments will be bigger and bigger!

I live outside of the US, can I still sign up?

Yes, you can. Our models come from all kinds of different places around the world; the only thing required is that you speak English and have a valid photo ID that shows your birth date or a passport of some sort. The ONLY locations we do not hire models form is Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Lybia and Philippines.

What is the minimum amount I need to earn to get paid?

All payouts are through Direct Deposit ($20 minimum payout), but by Paxum the minimum is $50 or it will be combined with your next week payment. International wire transfer minimum is $100 ($20 Fee). 

What payment system are available?

The current payment options we provide are either direct deposit for US citizens or through International wire transfer or Paxum; which is international and provides you with a Mastercard that can be used like any other debit card. I have a Paxum account, how do I connect it to I-Camz?

Will you report my income to the IRS?

By law yes we will be reporting it. Like every other legal job; if you earn more than $600 you will receive a 1099-MISC in the mail and it will be filed that you are a contractor with I M Management INC.

Will I be asked to stand nude?

Although it is the general idea that webcam models will pose nude, you are given freedom to do whatever makes YOU feel comfortable. Please be sure to let your customers be aware of your choices and rules when it comes to chats so there will not be any future problems or mix ups with costumers.

What are the rules that I have to follow to work as a cam model?

The following list is a basic list of the rules; please follow them accordingly or your account will be suspended or terminated:

1) Any rude behavior to customers or other models is prohibited.
2) Do not say anything disrespectful about any other models to customers.
3) If it is illegal in your location, it is illegal on cam; do not do it!
4) Keep any personal information including payment to yourself.
5) Anyone not approved by us should not appear on webcam with you, period.

Is my personal info and identity kept private?

We will NEVER release anything about you to anyone for any reason. Information is used just to keep you in our system of employees and for payment reasons. The only way any personal information will be released is if it is for legal reasons by law. Only 2 people in our entire company have access to see the photos of our models ID's. They are only kept on file as long as you are a model with us.

Can a client find out where I am from?

We promise you that we keep all our models safe and NO personal information is accessible by customers, including your IP addresses.

Will I appear as a Webcam Model on a background check?

If for any reason a background check occurs, you will be listed as an independent contractor under IM Management INC. and NOTHING related to any kind of webcam modeling will appear.

What happens in the event that I need to quit or just stop working for some time?

You are free to work when you want to, the choice is yours! The only thing needed if you decide to take a leave of absence is to log in once every 90 days so we are aware that your account is still active and to avoid being terminated. You are not under any contract so if you decide to permanently delete your account, it is perfectly fine and any remaining payments will be paid as promised.

Can I block out my area, so people I know can't view me?

We want you to know that we do everything to make our models feel safe and you have the ability to restrict certain cities, states or countries if requested. Just keep in mind that if certain places are blocked, you will not have as much traffic so use if really necessary.

Can I hide my face?

Yes you can, however it could harm your ability to make money considering customers may not want to talk to someone who hides their face. Please keep in mind that webcam modeling is not for everyone so if you feel like you have to hide your face, it may not be for you.

Can I be topless in free chat?

Yes you can. Any kind of explicit below the belt nudity is not however.

Do I have a work schedule?

Again, you have to ability to choose when to webcam. But keep in mind that the more you work, the more money you could make, and if you make a schedule then followers can know when to log in to view your cam and increase your popularity greatly.

Where can I work from?

Any location is allowed where there is access to high speed internet, a computer/laptop and a webcam or access to any mobile device like a phone or tablet.

I have never done cam modeling, will you help me begin?

We are here to help you with anything you want; from the basics to any kind of support with your webcam settings. ANYTHING you need help with, let us know and get a reply immediately with our live support feature.

Do I have to try and get customers in my room?

Our job is to supply the traffic to you, so all you have to do is log in and begin chatting and leave the rest to us.

Can I get paid for referring a friend?

Like with most jobs where you get a percentage for referring someone, you can here to. We have a referral agent program and you will receive 10% up to 12% payout on all models (must have 50 active models to qualify) of what all your referred models make, and it will not come out of their payments. 

Do I have to look like a model to do this?

Everyone is an individual and no one looks alike. There are customers for everyone no matter the appearance. Like with most interactions in real life and online, your personality is what draws customers over appearance.

Do I have to pay for anything upfront?

There are no fees whatsoever for models to pay. All of us work together to make money, and neither of us take the other persons’ money in any way.

Will taxes be taken out of my check?

Since you are considered an independent contractor, no taxes will be taken out. 

Are their any types of fees?

There are no fees whatsoever. We will never ask you for credit card information or anything related. 

How do I sign up for GOLD Shows?

Gold Shows, also known as Party Chat is a newly introduced feature that is still in the testing stage but requires the following features to qualify:

*Must be streaming with the HD Encoder.
*Must use audio and talk while performing.
*Have a 4.5 star rating or higher.
*Must be connected via Ethernet cable and not through wireless.
*Must have a i5 or i7 processor.

How can I change my payment information?

After you are approved, you are sent a link to set up your Manage Account Login where you can view and manage your payment information. The login is located on the Performer Login Page.

Can I sell items or services during shows?

You are allowed to be as creative as you want when it comes to your shows, however you should never perform either of the two if any kind of personal information could be exchanged in the process. If you can’t give the reward during your stream or using on-site services such as mail and the phone service, then you should NOT be offering those rewards.

If your account violates these rules, you could be suspended or have your account terminated and payment may be withheld.

A member is bothering me. Is there anything I can do?

Of course! You are allowed to choose who views your cam and who doesn't. Simply explain to them the issue and tell them to stop, if they continue you can time them out temporarily or block them all together. If they continue to harass you even if blocked, contact us immediately and we will take care of the problem. We want all of our models to know that you are safe when it comes to situations like this and we will not stand for any type of bullying or harassment.

What system set up do i need?

Any kind of desktop or laptop is fine. You will need high speed internet with upload speed above .65 MB/s and you can check yours at speedtest.net to see what yours is if unaware. HD Cameras are recommended, preferably ones that can stream at 720p for the best quality for customer viewing.
